지난 9월 15일, GST는 지역 내 아동·청소년들의 학습환경 개선을 위해 중고 PC 40대를 지원했습니다.
이번 활동은 기존에 사용하던 컴퓨터의 SSD를 교체해 성능을 향상시키고, 학습에 필요한 PC를 지역사회에 전달하는 방식으로 진행되었습니다. 업그레이드된 컴퓨터는 과제 수행을 비롯한 다양한 교육 활동에 활용될 예정입니다.
기존 컴퓨터의 상태와 성능을 점검하고 필요한 부분을 업그레이드함으로써, 기존 자원에 새로운 가치를 더하고 아이들의 배움을 지원하는 도구로 재활용할 수 있었습니다.
앞으로도 GST는 보유한 자원과 역량을 지역사회와 나누며, 아동·청소년의 성장과 더 나은 교육환경 조성을 위한 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 이어가겠습니다.
On September 15, GST donated 40 refurbished desktop computers to help improve the learning environments of children and adolescents in the local community.
The initiative involved replacing the SSDs in existing computers to enhance their performance and delivering the upgraded computers to the community for educational use. The computers are expected to support a variety of learning activities, including schoolwork and assignments.
By assessing the condition and performance of the existing computers and upgrading them where needed, GST was able to extend the life of existing resources, give them renewed value, and repurpose them as tools to support children’s learning.
GST will continue to share its resources and expertise with the local community through various social contribution initiatives, supporting the growth of children and adolescents and helping create better learning environments.
